RELEASE NEWS!

Resistance will be available to buy in PDF form as of next week (beginning Monday the 14th of May) on the Cubicle 7 website shop.

A link will be posted as soon as it becomes available. The hard copy version will be released at the end of June, likely in the last week, with pre-orders from the C7 store starting next week too. I’ll confirm release dates as soon as possible, and provide links of course.

All of us who worked on the book are very excited, and really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the supplement and about your further adventures in Promethea.

Conpulsion 2012 – The Dark Harvest ‘Press Conference’

The Nearly Enough Dice podcast team videoed the chat at Conpulsion this year.

If you follow this link, it’ll take you to the NED YouTube channel where you can watch and listen as Iain Lowson, Andrew Harman and Steve Ironside burble away for a fair old while, covering the past, present and future of the DH:LoF game line.

Topics include why Conpulsion is so good for DH, the Resistance supplement, the ebook fiction anthology, the Frankenstein’s Bodies card game, plans for a scenario pack, and the unveiling of a rough cut of the trailer for the DH video game Fires of Promethea.

We Got A Griffie!

At the closing ceremony of Conpulsion 2012, DH:LoF was awarded the first ever Griffie for Best Roleplaying Product.

All of us involved with the book are seriously delighted and honoured to get the award, especially as those of us there had had an amazing time even before the Griffies were given out.

The event was covered by the team from Nearly Enough Dice. They interviewed a bunch of the DH team, and videoed the DH panel chat (complete with announcements of future releases) and a playtest of Frankenstein’s Bodies. When those videos go up on YouTube, we’ll link to them. In the meantime, here’s their summary of everything that went on at Conpulsion 2012.

Our thanks go out to the organisers of Conpulsion, Phil and Gregor, and to all the staff. It’s easily one of the best conventions in the UK and, at 25, one of the oldest. Hope to see you all there next year.

We’ve Been Nommed!

My sincere thanks to all of you who took the time to nominate DH:LoF for a Griffie Award.

The list of finalists has just been announced, and we’re in there! This means a lot to us, as has been said before, as Conpulsion has been ‘lucky’ for us in the past. Here’s hoping that luck continues.

Read the announcement at the Conpulsion site, and then book yourself some tickets to what is one of the best conventions in the UK. We look forward to meeting a whole bunch of you there in April. 🙂
